Subject: [Tweeters] "storm" wigeon at Nisqually

Hi Tweeters,
While birding for a couple of hours this morning at Nisqually NWR, I saw a "storm" or "white-cheeked" wigeon, which is a variant of a male American Wigeon in which the portion of the face below the green section is white like the head stripe. This is only the 2nd one that I've seen. It was located off of the dike trail on the way to the boardwalk on the freshwater side. I posted a digiscoped phone photo on ebird.
