Tweets ? I did my annual spring cleanup walk at Marymoor this morning. I was very pleased to have my wife along to help today. We weren?t really there to bird, but there were some notable birds that we couldn?t miss.

In the East Meadow south of the Viewing Mound, there was a SAY?S PHOEBE flycatching in the drizzle. We also saw three SAVANNAH SPARROWS there, my first of the year for Marymoor, as well as about 6 WESTERN MEADOWLARKS.

TREE SWALLOWS were actively swirling around and into nesting boxes.

Nothing else particularly notable, but it seemed pretty birdy overall.
