This morning at 9:30 a Say's Phoebe was working the area around the picnic
shelter and statue at Richmond Beach. Also a pair of Black Scoters was in a
small flock of Surf Scoters well offshore. In the trees along the walkway
to the beach a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers foraged on snags

Sitting on a light post above the parking lot was a "White-collared" Robin.
The white ring around its neck contrasted with its red breast and its dark
head and back. Any idea if this is a known hybrid or sub-species?
