Since eBird reports indicate "time of report" and not necessarily "time of sighting", though some tell about that later in the checklist and description/media sections, I'd sure appreciate it if some of you who have found the owl over the weekend or today (Mon.), would be so kind as to give at least an approximate time that you saw it (e.g. early a.m., mid-morning, noonish, early afternoon, mid-afternoon, late afternoon, early evening, etc.) or an actual instant or range of time, if that is easy enough for you. Thanks.

And thanks to all of you who reported this, as well as related the off-leash dog scenario. Sure was nice that no "sucker punches" were thrown and at least semi-peace ensued. Sounds like that was a "teaching moment". Kudos to all involved...
