Hi Tweeters,

Today I birded the Fill. Spring was very evident, and Savannah Sparrows and a White Crowned were singing. I was elated to first hear, then locate the male California Quail near the University Slough, perched on the chain-link fence. Chi-Ca!, Chi-Ca!, Chi-Ca-Go! Chi-Ca-Go!. Also a Barn Swallow at last!
