Randy Hill and I headed out this morning hoping to find birds moving in from the storm. What we found is wind and a lot of it. We did have a few new birds chipping sparrow, western tanager. Mostly we had several orange-crowned, yellow, Wilson's, yellow-rumped warblers. We had a few Bullock's orioles and warbling vireos. We had a Swainson's thrush, new for Randy, although I had one here two days ago. We also had a single ruby-crowned kinglet and 5 rufous hummingbirds. I had one yesterday.
