Hi Tweeters,

This morning (5/6/16) there was a male YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD along Barlow
Point Road, 0.5 mile south of Willow Grove Rd. On my way in this dead end
road the bird was foraging on the ground just south of an old barn and on
my way out it was on a fence post calling. My first record of this species
in Cowlitz Co. since May '08, before which I thought they were nearly
annual.
