All day I've been hearing the "upward-spiraling flutelike song" (Cornell) of one or more Swainson's Thrushes, both in my yard and coming from a neighbor's. It is a soothing balm, to be sure. Never caught a visual on it (them), but perhaps I'll get lucky tomorrow.
