Hi Tweeterdom,

Over the weekend, we caught a few more Spring arrivals in various spots east of the mountains.

Highlights of FOY birds include numerous warblers, such as TOWNSEND?S, WILSON?S, NASHVILLE AND MACGILLIVRAY?S. Also had WESTERN TANAGER, BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK, BULLOCK?S ORIOLE and WARBLING VIREO.

Aside from the FOY?s, our woodpecker luck was with us, with the exception of the Williamson?s Sapsucker we were hoping to find. Got some great views of a PILEATED WOODPECKER poking its head out of a cavity, then flying in and out. Also had a DOWNY, several N. FLICKER, and a RED-NAPED SAPSUCKER.

(Advisory: Stampede Pass is hosting several mosquitoes already.)

Heading up to Table Mountain, the wildflowers put on an amazing abundance of brilliant colors.

Finished the gorgeous day with 70 species.
