Hey Tweets,

Went in search of Blue-winged Teal in the Snoqualmie Valley yesterday. And
was pleasantly surprised to find Bank Swallows also.

There are a couple areas where the fields flood just south of Jubilee Farm
in Fall City that I find are good for finding winter ducks. The one south of
Main St is almost dried up, but the field on the SW side of the road just
south of the main buildings still has some standing water. I was able to see
8 Blue-winged Teal and many swallows. I saw at least 6 Bank Swallows flying
over the field/water and sitting on the power lines along the road. The
best place to park is at the curve in road where Main becomes W Snoqualmie
River Rd NE and walk a little to the flooded field on left.

It seems to be a good year to see Blue-winged Teal, seeing many reports
