As my husband and I pulled into the parking lot at Stillwater today, there
were some other birders there whose vehicle had been broken into and scopes
stolen.



While birding close to the parking lot a bit later, I saw a black SUV with
tinted windows pull into the parking lot, sit for awhile, leave and then
return later on, sit and leave. Perhaps casing the parking lot?
