Is anyone else missing Cedar Waxwings?
Each year I anticipate their arrival in my neighborhood to coincide with the salmon berries getting ripe. Salmon berries have been here for a couple of weeks and now there are also ripe cherries (another Cedar Waxwing draw)but still no CEDW. I did however get my best ever view of a pair of Western Tanagers feeding on the cherries yesterday.
