Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

On May 21 a male HOODED ORIOLE visited a Cape Meares Village feeder. Two
INDIGO BUNTINGS were seen May 20 at Fields. A ship about 75 kilometers off
Oregon May 20 recorded 2500 BLACK-FOOTED ALBATROSS, two LAYSAN ALBATROSS,
and a MANX SHEARWATER off Curry County, and a LAYSAN ALBATROSS, HAWAIIAN
PETREL, and a MANX SHEARWATER off Lane County.

BLACK SWIFT migrations along the coast continued through the week, with one
seen near Eugene May 21.

On May 24 three LONG-BILLED CURLEWS were at Tenmile Creek in Coos County. On
Netarts Spit May 22 were 170 Whimbrels, a LONG-BILLED CURLEW, and a MEW
GULL.

On May 20 a bright RED-NECKED GREBE was at The Dalles. A GRAY FLYCATCHER was
seen May 21 at Powell Butte Park in Gresham. That day a BANK SWALLOW was in
Eugene. On May 21, 12 WHITE PELICANS were at Fern Ridge Reservoir. On May 24
a family of BLACK-NECKED STILTS, including two chicks, were at Fern Ridge.
