800 or so Vaux?s Swifts spent last night in the Monroe Wagner School chimney roost. More swifts came in at 6:30 and kept coming in all morning long. There got to be a lot and 3-5 thousand left a bit after noon.

The probability is that most of them will return for the evening. If you?re looking for a stunning wildlife spectacle today this could be it. The birds also might head north or more likely all go in just before you get to the school. I would be checking the Vaux?s Happening live stream. But then the WildEarth website may have a virus. Or maybe it doesn?t. I?ve gotten no response from the South African Server about that.

Anyone know of another wildlife live streaming service who might be interested in our wee birds? They can have the massive Detroit Chimney Swift roost too.
