must-sees that could be part of your return visit: big morongo and san
jacinto wildlife areas... they are both off interstate 10 (one above by
about 5 miles, the other south and west by maybe 10)... if you hit the
coast, buena vista and san luis rey are worth stopping for before heading
north... the marina in oceanside can show off great and snowy egrets,
brown (and occasionally american white) pelicans and other local birds at
close range (especially around the bait boats...
