During the Seattle Audubon's monthly Golden Gardens bird count this
morning, around 10am, our group saw a BROWN PELICAN flying over the water,
clearly visible from the main pier in the park. Sighting was around 10am.
When we left the area, it had flown down to float in the water.

Seems like an unusual place to see one; none of us had seen a pelican in
the park before.
