This morning there was a young Brown Pelican foraging off the north end of
March Point. It was initially flying around just south of Hat Island
before moving farther east into Padilla Bay. Also present were 60
Long-tailed Ducks, a surprising flock of 12 Barrow's Goldeneye, an Eared
Grebe, and at least 1600 Brandt's Cormorants.
