Hello Tweets,

I had a pretty good day in the valley going from three forks up to monroe.
Here are some highlights

Carnation Marsh- Northern Saw-whet and Great Horned Owl in morning and
Swamp Sparrow later just before first bridge
Jubilee Farms- Eurasian Wigeon and Western Meadowlark south of Jubilee in
flooded fields
Sikes Lake- Barn Owl in morning and Ring-necked Pheasant later
Monroe- 200 Trumpeter Swans in fields just south of Crescent Lake. One dead
swan in middle of field

Other than the owls and swamp sparrow it was a pretty quiet day with low
duck numbers in all bodies of water and almost no blackbirds or gulls to
pick through. Hopefully in December the fields will be plowed and those
birds will become more abundant.
