The immature Brown Pelican was visible for a time from the foot pier
near the south end of Golden Gardens Park. In early afternoon, it was
swimming in the Shilshole marina, and slowly flap-climbed up the rocks
of the breakwater, gradually moving south after it reached the top, then
disappearing while I was looking elsewhere (perhaps at a couple close
murres or Rhinoceros Auklets or Bonaparte's Gulls).
