Of course I support safe air travel.
If I understand the story correctly,
Several hundred birds were put into the air as a result of gunfire to scare them.
This would seem to elevate risk to the planes taking off and landing. Was this prior to a jet test flight?
It is pretty amazing that this airport is feet from a river entering a lake and a place that concentrates live fish and dead salmon, and birds that eat them.
A giant birdbath, bird feeder and resting site.
Was the Cedar river diverted to enter the lake at this location before or after the airport was present?
