The pond where the bird was is no longer there as it was from all the rain. The directions are as follows. Take Exit 77 off I-5, go west to the first light past the on/off ramps. Riverside Dr. Turn south and follow the road until it crosses the river. The road is Shory Road at that point. The road Y's Devereese Rd goes up the hill and Shory Road stays on the valley floor. The bird was in a pond just past the Y on Shory Rd. The pond is no longer there so it will have to be relocated elsewhere. I looked at most of the ponds today and didn't relocate it. However there are a lot of ponds in the area so it could still be around.

Thanks!

I just finished a wirlwind birding trip around the Chehalis/Centralia area. There are some nice birds in the area right now. The normal dabblers are present but there were a nice number of diving ducks. Including 11 C. Mergansers, 10 C. Goldeneye, and one Scoter which I wasn't able to see what species. The Scoter was seen yesterday and I was unable to relocate it today.
