It was just outside the usual EBird beat along Tommy Thompson trail, but arriving close to dawn at Fidalgo Bay Rd. in Skagit County, extreme s. e. Anacortes, I had

a late SWAINSON'S THRUSH. We've had several HERMIT THRUSH in the area recently, but this bird had no rust on the tail, or warm brown tones.
