I stand corrected - it's a Hermit Thrush. Her camera's not so great. On the plus side, it's a new yard bird. :-(

Subject: [Tweeters] Injured bird: where to take it?

Hi tweets,

I'm in my classroom, but my wife sent me pictures of a lovely Swainson's Thrush that hit our back window. Might have broken a wing, but it seems alert, though it's just sitting around. Should she box it in a shoebox and take it somewhere? Or just wait to see what happens? We live in North Seattle, so if there's a rehab place or something over there, that'd be good. (Seattle Audubon?) Any thoughts?
