About 8:30 this morning there was a Lapland Longspur on the lawn behind the swim beach bathroom. Unfortunately, it did not stuck around due to pressure from a bicycle race there all morning. Jan Bragg joined me to hunt for the bird, unsuccessfully.

But, we did get some compensatory satisfaction from finding two White-throated Sparrows (tan-striped) in Kingfisher Basin.
