Easy viewing in good light: two dozen pairs of Wood Ducks in Cannon Hill pond on the South Hill of Spokane. Lots of Hooded Merganser pairs as well. Great photo ops in morning light.
Very pleasant but sparse birding on the Bluff trails - great looks at White-breasted Nuthatches and Black-billed Magpies. Great fall colors too.
