Went photographing and birding with my grandson for a couple of hours today
at the Burbank Slew, McNary NWF which is near the confluence of the Columbia
and Snake rivers. With the hunting season open, thousands of waterfowl
gathered in the closed area by the headquarters. Northern shovelers and
coots dominated.
