Hi Tweeters,

Just saw a gorgeous male Varied Thrush plucking away in the leaf mulch right near the bird's nest spruce. Gene had said he'd seen one a few days ago, but waited to post
until I had too. It's wonderful how camouflaged he is in the fall leaves.

Having lots of robins and juncos now. Keep watching for the Pacific Wren to sneak by and the creeper too.

Nuthatches, chickadees and bushtits abound. Anna's too.
