With a late start I drove way too much 8/30 to Othello, Sprague Lake, Cow
Lake, and Washtucna. Few birds of note: a Sora at Cow L.

8/31, 4 hours in Washtucna:

Western, Baird's and Spotted Sandpipers at the WTP;

Common Nighthawk early, Barn Owl screeching very early;

Olive-sided (4), Pacific-slope (3), and Gray Flycatcher and several pewees;

EASTERN PHOEBE seen briefly in Russian-olive north of Bassett Park; it flew
east toward town but I was unable to relocate it in an extensive
drive-around;

4 Warbling Vireo;

1 Townsend's Solitaire;

Very few warblers: 1 Orange-crowned, 1 Nashville, 2 McGillivray's, 3
Yellow-rumped, 1 Wilson's Warbler;

8 Lincoln's and 25 White-crowned Sparrows, and 1 junco

9/1 N Fork Ahtanum (west of Yakima)

1 N Goshawk

3 Am Three-toed Woodpecker
