This last week the Monroe Wagner Vaux?s Swift communal migratory roost site has hosted over 60,000 of these small birds. This is time of year, weather, and predator related. As far as we know there is currently nothing else like it going on in North America. It?s also a spectacular wildlife event that I?ve been attempting to get tweeters involved in. So far we?ve had zero tweeters raise their hand.
