Spent the afternoon birding a few places on Whidbey Island mostly looking
for shorebirds. Nothing too unusual, highlights listed below.

Deer Lagoon:
Great Egret - 1
American White Pelican ~100

Western Sandpiper ~ 40
Pectoral Sandpiper - 2
Lesser Yellowlegs - 3
Greater Yellowlegs - 1
Black-bellied Plover ~ 60
Bank Swallow - 1
Horned Lark - 2

Crockett Lake (all at the east end):
Sanderling - 1
Baird's Sandpiper - 1
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 4
Least Sandpiper ~30
Western Sandpiper ~130
Long-billed Dowitcher - 7
Short-billed Dowitcher - 3
Semipalmated Plover - 21

Hastie Lake Road:
Red-necked Phalarope - 23
