From: Toby Ross - TobyR at seattleaudubon.org

The Puget Sound Seabird Survey season will start on Oct 1st and we are still in need of volunteers.
The 30 minute surveys take place on the first Saturday of each month, October to April.
Knowledge of seabird identification preferred, but people of all birding levels who are keen to learn welcome.
Survey sites where we need volunteers the most are:

1. Three sites west of Gig Harbor

2. Three sites south of Gig Harbor

3. Three sites, 2 near Port Orchard and 1 in Suquamish

4. Three sites on Vashon Island

5. Three sites in Olympia

6. One site between Sequim and Port Townsend
There are also numerous other sites throughout Puget Sound that need volunteers.
