I agree, Barb, they were fun to watch at first. Then they came in droves, (?murders, groups, flocks) and chased away everyone else - even the hummingbirds stayed away when they came in.

From what I've read they may not migrate from our area, common all seasons. It makes me wonder though. This is the first year of six living here that I've had them. Last year it was an overabundance of bees plaguing my porch. I'll blame it on climate change!
