This morning, an immature Rhinoceros Auklet had found its way to the
freshwater Everett Sewage Lagoon - photo on ebird checklist. There are no
prior ebird reports for this species at this location. There is one from
adjacent Spencer Island in 2008.

I did not find the Eared Grebe that was reported yesterday, but the
Canvasback remains and lots of American Coots have arrived. On Spencer
Island, I had a nice look at a Merlin flying low over my head.
