Hello all,

This morning we observed 147 Elegant Terns off the Port of Chinook -
most perched on old cannery pilings. Five more were just offshore at
the Midvillage site.

Only 1 Caspian Tern.

At Julia Butler Hansen Refuge in Wahkiakum county on Friday were two
Phoebes - the Black Phoebe at the HQ and a SAY'S PHOEBE at the gate with
3 blue pipes sticking up about a quarter mile from the dead end.

Very warm weekend at Long Beach with few migrants.

Back in Walla Walla, M&ML
