> Twice recently Karen and I have birded along the section of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail near Fay Road. Both times there has been a noisy trio of Northern Flickers very much in evidence. The following video captures their behavior. Even when he is not visible in the video, there is a third Flicker nearby, a male. It would be nice if the background noise were a rushing stream, but it is traffic on highway 203. At one point a cyclist pedals by resulting in gravelly sounds.
