Good morning birders!

Got to see the mama hummer feeding baby at UBNA (The Fill) today. And a major bonus, as we walked back, Gene spotted the Say's Phoebe in the field just before the hummer's nest (side). Didn't even expect that!! Bonus bird!! A lifer for us!!

We pointed it out to a photog so will get to see it close up - although it sat still on a tall blade of grass to get a good spot on it.

A great quick trip to the fill - and then the rain came.
