Today on Whidbey, between showers, I came across a few nice signs of spring:

TOWNSEND?S SOLITAIRE - as reported previously on eBird , one remains at Deception Pass SP, along the Goose Rock perimeter trail ? it was in some madrone trees, across from Ben Ure Island .

Orange-crowned Warblers - many back and singing ? nice sign of spring maybe maybe getting closer?

CHIPPING SPARROW - 2 at the Pacific Rim Institute ? they were near the fenced in area towards the northwest end of the prairie.

Long-billed Dowitchers ? one at Dugualla Bay mixed w/ Greater Yellowlegs, several at Crockett Lake w/ sharp-looking Dunlin.

N. Rough-winged Swallow - at Coles Rd. Marsh
