Spring is definitely coming despite the continuance of rain.

The pair of ospreys have set up shop again at the Manson dock nesting platform at the 5200 block of East Marginal Way. Last Friday, at the Federal Center South, we had a FOY orange crowned warbler, and a breeding plumage red throated loon was on the river along with the last wintering Barrows and common goldeneyes. The horned grebes are moving into breeding plumage also.

The next few weeks should be interesting.
