Today at Ocean Shores I had three Western Grebes on the beach well up from
the water. They seemed to be roosting. I had not seen this before and was
wondering if others have and is this normal for Western Grebes? When other
people came close to one of them it started trying to walk but it was
pretty awkward and didn't move far. Photo on Flickr:
