Hello Tweets,

I have been frantically watching and listening for warblers in my backyard the last few days, because in this same window of time in both 2015 and 2016 I had a Nashville Warbler visit the exact same bigleaf maple behind our house. The chances are slim for a third occurrence, and the weather isn't as nice as it had been both previous occurrences, but I am still holding out hope.

This evening I came outside to check, and encountered a male Black-throated Gray Warbler and a Wilson's Warbler. The Wilson's was silent and only visible for 5 seconds in a bush down in our ravine - a case of right place, right time.

Good birding, Joshua Glant
