I took a hike around Discovery Park this afternoon. A Semipalmated Plover on North Beach near the lighthouse was a welcome surprise. Also off of North Beach were 2 Red-throated Loons and a large flock of ~500 Bonaparte's Gulls. Pretty slow in terms of passerines, but a singing Black-throated Gray Warbler on the Loop Trail east of Illinois Avenue was nice.
