On my early morning walk Friday morning I saw seven Sandhill Cranes on the surge plain about three quarters of the way out on the boardwalk. They remained the entire time I observed them about 45 minutes. Also there are three owlets at the GHOW nest. The female adult owl was also visible intermittently.
