Hi Tweeters, I was down at the Olympia Farmer's Market today. I decided to
take a brief detour and visit the "Jack Davis Pond". I saw another car
there with its hazard lights on. I wonder what might be there? I then saw
a bright yellow headed bird beside the pond. Amazed I got my bins and sure
enough it was a beautiful male, very bright. This was about 1:45 PM. I
don't know if he will stick around. In the grass at the South end of the
pond. The previously reported osprey was also perched on the nest tower
