I'm flummoxed.

Heard a new call in Seward Park this afternoon, high up in a Doug Fir on the hill east of the Nature Center. A trilled voice, halfway between a Towhee and a Varied Thrush. It had thrush-like harmonics, but was shorter and more harsh/abrupt like a Towhee.

A young Thrush? A coloratura Towhee? Something I've never heard before?

Ideas?
