Saw nine extremely tenacious redpolls in a wind-blown tree feeding on seed
pods with purpose, no audible chatter. Time was 1:15 Wednesday on east side
of lake just south of Community Center and ballfields (hundreds of wigeons,
Canada geese, and I wish people wouldn't set their dogs after them).
