Hi Tweeters,

Yesterday I posted a picture of what I thought was an
odd-looking Anna's Hummingbird. I got quite a few responses to my query,
"Is this bird OK?" The consensus was the he is fine, just going through
molt. One person added that the bird was born this year and going through
this molt for the first time. Since Anna's will be nesting around here in
December and January, he'll probably be really smart-looking by next month.



Thank you for all who commented on the picture. BTW,as of
now 334 people have looked at that picture on Flickr! Wow! The power of
the internet!
