Hey Tweets!

Yesterday the inaugural Lewis County Christmas Bird Count was held. While I was only able to attend for some owling, and a few hours in the morning before heading home, it sounds like it was a successful day.

Over 10,000 birds tallied from 91 different species, with the biggest surprise being a Pacific Loon in an oxbow off of Centralia Airport Road.

Congrats to Dalton Spencer for pulling this together and to all of the folks that came out to volunteer their time!
