As of 1 p.m., the young Gyrfalcon was perched on the northernmost utility line on the east side of the McChord AFB runway, as viewed from the end of Steele St. From southbound I-5, take exit 127 to east on Hwy 512. After you cross over I-5, the first exit off of 512 is Steele. Turn left at the end of the off ramp and follow Steele to its end.

Not sure the bird is worth it today. Northbound traffic from Federal Way to South Center looked horrific.
