Good frozen morning, Tweeters,

Looking up at my new 2017 hummer nest at 8:15 this am, I noticed a bird on the nest. After watching her sit there a bit, and then checking again, she was gone. After getting a cup of tea, she was right back on it, sitting low in the nest.

I think she must be on some eggs. This seems to be a bit earlier than last year to the nest in the same area in our pine (about 30' up to my chagrine). Glad it will be warming up again in a couple of days. I think the warmth may have thrown her timing off a bit - although one can never be sure in Jan/Feb what the temp will be!!

Only wish I could look down on that nest. But I do know it is lined with the fluff I saw her collecting!!
