On Jan 31 I reported a juv Golden Eagle along Boe Road, south of Stanwood. Attached is a link to 2 distant images of the juv Golden Eagle perched in a tree beside an adult Bald Eagle.

This morning I tried to find the SURFBIRD that has been seen recently at the Edmonds fishing pier. The weather was cold and windy and no Surfbird could I find. Later there was a juv GOLDEN EAGLE with several BALD EAGLES near the end of Boe Road, south of Stanwood. Also, nearby, at the intersection of Norman Rd and Marine Drive was an adult dark morph Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk.
